Do you use sub-contractors?
No. All of our painters and carpenters are employees of MDB Painting, Inc.

What brands of paint do you use?
Duron, Sherwin Williams, McCormick and Benjamin Moore. 

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are fully licensed and insured in both Virginia and Washington, DC.  We carry an umbrella general liability policy as well as workers’ compensation.

Is there a foreman on the job site at all times?
Yes.

Do you offer warranties?
Yes. A two (2) year interior warranty and a one (1) year exterior warranty.

How long will the job take?
That depends on the project. A firmer timeline can be given post-estimate.

How many employees will you have working on my job?
That depends on the project. Typically, we have 2-4 employees on each job site

Do I have to be present while my job is being done?
No.

Who moves the furniture?
MDB Painting, Inc. will move the furniture for you. However, we ask all of our customers to remove knick knacks and fragile items prior to the onset of any project.

Do you cover the furniture and floors?
Yes.

Do you remove and replace the switch/plug plates prior to painting?
Yes.
