FAQs

Do you use sub-contractors?
No, all of our painters and carpenters are employees of MDB Painting, Inc.

What brands of paint do you use?
Duron, Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore.  We will be happy to use any brand you might prefer, however, this will negate the part(s) of the warranty that involves painting.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, we carry a Virginia Class A Contractors License and a Business License.  We carry worker’s compensation insurance.

Is there a foreman on the job site at all times?
Yes.

Do you offer warranties?
Yes, a two (2) year interior warranty and a one (1) year exterior warranty.

How long will the job take?
Each project is different, therefore, it will depend on the scope of work.

How many employees will you have working on my job?
It depends on the scope of work.  Typically, we have 2-4 employees on each job site.

Do I have to be present while my job is being done?
No.

Who moves the furniture?
MDB Painting, Inc. will move the furniture for you.  However, we ask all of our customers to remove the "knick knacks" personally prior to our starting a job.

Do you cover the furniture and floors?
Yes.

Do you remove the switch/plug plates prior to painting?
Yes.
